Vital Info Regarding PPO

Different charting software plot PPO differently. For example in MT4 platform the PPO includes both Main line and Signal line and you have to just change the values in it, whereas in METASTOCK you will have to plot Signal Line by creating formula for it. The reason is,

In metastock when you plot PPO, the PPO line alone gets plotted. You have to create the SIGNAL LINE to plot it on PPO. Below I have provided the formulas to plot the PPO in Metastock.

In other charting softwares when you plot PPO if it gets plotted along with signal line that all you need to do is select correct settings.

In the video you can see that when we plot PPO(3,7,9) while plotting SIGNAL LINE a window pops up.

Here you have to tick, Merge with scale on left and then click on OK. If some other selection is there, select "Merge with scale on left" and then click on OK to plot the signal line on PPO(3,7,9).
